Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 18, 2026

1. ACCEPTANCE

By accessing or using Sentinel ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information promptly. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. SENTINEL MONITORING SERVICE

Sentinel provides hosted smart contract monitoring for EVM-compatible blockchain networks. The Service detects four event types: Transfer, OwnershipTransferred, Paused, and Unpaused events, via the eth_getLogs RPC method. Alerts are delivered via webhook or email based on your configured settings.

Sentinel monitors contracts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, subject to the availability of your configured RPC endpoint and network conditions.

5. ALERT CONFIGURATION

You are solely responsible for configuring alert thresholds, webhook endpoints, and notification preferences. Sentinel does not interpret alert data or take action on your behalf.

6. RESTRICTED ACTIVITIES

You may not use the Service to monitor contracts associated with illegal activity, fraud, or any purpose prohibited by applicable law. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction regarding blockchain technology use.

7. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT

Subscription plans and pricing are displayed at sentinelweb3.com. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method for the applicable plan fees.

Billing occurs on a recurring monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as outlined in our Refund Policy.

8. FREE TIER

The Free tier includes monitoring of up to 3 contracts with email alerting only. Features are subject to change at our discretion with notice provided via email or website update.

9. SERVICE MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with reasonable notice provided via email or updates to the website. In the event of a permanent discontinuation, we will provide at least 30 days notice where practicable.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Sentinel does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of delays. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of alert data. Blockchain network conditions, RPC availability, and other factors outside our control may affect monitoring performance.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SENTINEL, ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to Sentinel in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, design, code, trademarks, and materials on sentinelweb3.com are the property of Sentinel or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without prior written consent.

13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure including Ethereum RPC providers (Alchemy, Infura, or similar), Stripe for payment processing, and SMTP providers for email delivery. Sentinel is not responsible for the performance, availability, or practices of third-party services.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration in Florida under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. By using the Service, you waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account or via notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
